Rosie & Daryl | Rockbeare Manor, Devon

Rosie and Daryl’s wedding at Rockbeare Manor was one of those days where everything — the weather, the venue, the mood — lined up. We’re always glad of an excuse to be back at this Devon country house near Exeter.

Rockbeare Manor sits just seven miles from Exeter, a Grade I listed Regency house on more than 100 acres of Devon parkland — and because it’s booked exclusively, Rosie and Daryl’s guests had free run of the grounds and all thirteen bedroom suites overnight. The near-250-year-old Dining Room, with its hand-crafted plasterwork and crystal chandelier, gave us a proper grand backdrop, and we love shooting receptions in the orangery-style Ballroom for exactly this reason — the parkland views flood the whole room with light.

A genuinely warm, relaxed day — lots of laughter, no rushing, and Rockbeare’s parkland putting on a proper show.
